Breaking the Cycle
Dr. Senerchia’s fellowship project spanned multiple community engagement activities. Across the English department, Dr. Senerchia created a curriculum for faculty members to follow and implement in their own English courses. Additionally, he developed extracurricular activities and events for students working at Calcutt Middle School, including a program called “Breaking the Cycle.” Working alongside the Johnson and Wales University AmeriCorps*VISTA member, this project investigated the possibility of expanding a Career Ambassador program.
