Rhode Island Campus Compact welcomed a new cohort of Presidential Faculty Fellows with a workshop on Engaged Scholarship. Dr. Kerrissa Heffernan drew from years of experience and her text, Fundamentals of Service-Learning Course Construction, to engage participants in the forms and challenges of faculty engaged scholarship. A brilliant start to the yearlong fellowship!

Rhode Island Campus Compact is now accepting applications for the Engaged Scholars Statewide Presidential Faculty Fellowship Program! The Faculty Fellows program serves as an opportunity for faculty from across the state to participate in a learning cohort of scholars and receive a grant to support the development of a community partnership, service-learning course, or community-based research project.
