Campus Compact Celebrates 30 Years of Educating Citizens and Building Communities
March 2016: Boston, MA
During the 2015-2016 academic year, Campus Compact will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Campus Compact will use the anniversary as an opportunity for all members to celebrate the achievement of the last three decades, learn more about what needs to done and what resources already exist to enable that work, and commit ourselves to the steps necessary to accelerate and deepen our efforts.
The 30th Anniversary conference, Accelerating Change: Engagement for Impact, will enable an informed critical dialogue among a wide range of participants about the extent to which we have achieved our shared goals and how we can move higher education to more fully embrace its public purposes. Campus Compact is working with organizations, entities, and ongoing projects focused on higher education civic engagement to present their work at the “Accelerating Change” conference.
