The Partnerships for Success (PFS) Advisory Council and additional education partnership practitioners gathered on June 3 to investigate the findings and tools of two PFS Pilot Case studies. Conducted in the fall of 2014 through the support of the RI Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner, the pilot case studies explored professional learning communities in the context of institution-district partnerships.
The PFS Partnership Rubric formed a central document in the exploration and pilot of the two case studies. In particular, the Rubric formed the basis of the qualitative interviews and guided partnership assessment by all involved partners. Those interviewed utilized the PFS Rubric Chart (see below) alongside the Rubric itself to chart their practice and perception of the phase of their partnership. Cumulative assessments were displayed and analyzed in two scatterplots, Partnership #1 and Partnership #2.
